 Dear Parents,

Our Museum of Nature field trip will be on Tuesday next week, June 4th. All parent volunteers have been contacted directly by their child’s teacher. Thank you to all those who volunteered!

Here is how our day will go:

We will leave the school at 9:30 AM and we hope to arrive at the museum by 10:00 AM. Parent volunteers will meet us at the side group entrance at the museum.

Although this is an indoor field trip, your son/daughter should dress for the weather that day.  Please ensure your child packs a lunch and has a water bottle. Students, parents, and teachers will all be having lunch at the museum’s eating area at 11:30 AM (that is the time scheduled for our school group). It is advisable that students eat a heavy breakfast as we will not be having a morning snack as usual.  We will return to school at roughly 2 pm.

We are looking forward to a fun learning experience!

Blessings,

Natalia Lacar, Jasmine Glazier and Adam McSheffrey

Hello Grade 1 and Grade 2 Parents,

The Grade 1/2 and 2 classes will be visiting The Museum of Nature for our year-end  field trip.  Please see the link below for visitor information.

Museum of Nature

The field trip will take place on Tuesday, June 4th.  Our approximate departure and return times are 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM.  We are looking for as many parent volunteers that are available to join us on our trip to the museum.  Volunteers will be responsible for a small group of students while touring the museum facilities.  All parent volunteers require a vulnerable sector police check that is on file with the OCSB.  Please reach out to the school office directly if you have any questions regarding the vulnerable sector check.  Volunteers will need to provide their own transportation to and from the museum due to limited seating on the bus.  Parking (at a cost) is available at the museum.

If you would like to volunteer, please reach out to your child’s teacher directly and we will contact you.

Thank you for your support,
