 Hello Grade 2 Families,

We are very blessed in Grade 2 to have two exciting activities planned for next week.  A huge thank you to School Council for funding these initiatives and making these special learning opportunities possible for our students.

Tuesday: Scientist In School - "I Like To Move It" student workshop.  Push, pull, lift and roll! Hone your building and observation skills as you make things move. Investigate pulleys, wheels and inclined planes. Combine all these simple machines to create an awesome mechanism that helps us move objects.

Wednesday: Art workshop with artist Amy Talbot.  This opportunity has been generously funded by our School Council, allowing all students to take part in a rich art activity that is centered around our School Board religious theme, "Building Bridges". These masterpieces will form a special Gallery Walk for our upcoming Open House during Catholic Education Week.

Much appreciated,

Adam McSheffrey
